Busy, but that means high turnover which is always good. My daughter highly approves of the food. They were very patient and accomodating if her needs despite the high volume of customers. They do a ham and cheese tostie properly. Prices quite good for city food.

Months ago, myself and my colleagues made Commodity our go-to cafe and every single day since we have been greeted by Jarrod and Colin in an extremely warm and welcoming way. The staff at Commodity take the time to get to know their regulars, forming a rapport and creating a seamless ordering process. Day after day the quality of their food and drinks remain consistently good, with a large selection of sandwiches prepared fresh daily. I am a big advocate of this cafe and recommend it to my friends and colleagues regularly. My biggest advice would be to disregard the negative reviews dated >7 months ago prior to the new management, and try Commodity for yourself.

IT DOESN’T GET BETTER THAN THIS! everything you could want for lunch with their selection of fine foods - roasts, soups, salads, sandwiches (you can even make your own with their selection of yummy ingredients), juice (you can also make your own), ALSO amazing coffee. Above all the staff are warm, welcoming and friendly.

Reliably great coffee and service. Even happy to bring your coffee to you if you’re sitting in the foyer lounges.

I came here on Friday for a quick lunch on Friday, and was pleasantly surprised to see the huge improvement in this place. they must have new owners. the coffee was amazing, i had a chicken wrap, was delicious, if i wasn't in a hurry, would of loved to try some of the hot food. good work guys keep it up, i will be back. definitely recommend.

I come here every morning with my co workers for coffee and grab lunch here a few times a week too! The friendliest staff, and really good food selection. The pumpkin/kale/pomegranate/chick pea salad is my fave

Such a gorgeous, warm and inviting cafe!! Huge space with lots of seating and tables available. All staff are so friendly, full of positive energy and vibes! Full of smiles and all very attentive. Our food was delicious. We had the carrot cake, mushroom toastie and the chicken n leek pie. The pie was absolutely divine. One of the best chicken and leek pies we’ve had. Pastry was so light and fluffy and very filling. Too good!! The carrot cake was moist and full of flavour which is so hard to find nowadays a lot of places carrot cakes are so dry and bland but this one did not disappoint I tell you! Mushroom and cheese toastie was very filling, so generous on the mushrooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and coffees. My chai was ok… abit on the weak side it was more milky then chai but it was still drinkable. Other than that, we loved our first visit so we will definitely be back!! They also have fresh sandwiches available or you pick and design your own. Also have hot food available too. Many different options which is amazing!! Cabinet food too.
